Beto Montenegro
Giovanni Zattera - Lifestyle Portrait Session
Created during New York Fashion Week SS25, this editorial follows Grammy-winning musician Beto Montenegro, lead vocalist of Rawayana, during his appearance at the Tommy Hilfiger runway show as a brand ambassador. Produced across the streets of New York City and an intimate portrait session inside his hotel room, the series blends the energy of Fashion Week with a more personal editorial perspective. Photographed within a 20-minute window, the project relied on instinctive direction, natural light, and efficient storytelling to create imagery that feels both spontaneous and refined. The resulting photographs were featured as the print cover story for Debut Magazine (Panama), celebrating the intersection of music, fashion, and contemporary editorial portraiture.

Commissioned by Debut Magazine (Panama), this editorial follows Grammy-winning musician Beto Montenegro, lead vocalist of Rawayana, during his appearance at the Tommy Hilfiger Spring/Summer 2025 runway show as a brand ambassador.
The visual narrative was designed to balance the fast-paced atmosphere of New York Fashion Week with intimate editorial portraiture, moving between the streets of Manhattan and a quiet portrait captured inside the artist's hotel room. The result is a series that blends fashion, music, and contemporary culture through imagery that feels both spontaneous and refined. The project was later published as Debut Magazine's print cover story.

Photographed entirely using natural light, the series embraces the changing qualities of New York throughout the day, from the city's architecture and streets to the softer, controlled light inside the hotel room.
The lighting approach remained intentionally minimal, allowing authentic moments and subtle expressions to define the visual language while maintaining a polished editorial aesthetic suited for magazine publication.
-
Creative direction focused on capturing both the public and personal sides of the artist within a limited production window. Environmental portraits throughout the city reflected the energy of Fashion Week, while the hotel-room cover portrait offered a quieter, more intimate perspective.
Direction emphasized natural gestures, confidence, and understated styling, creating imagery that feels effortless while highlighting Tommy Hilfiger's contemporary identity and Beto Montenegro's distinctive presence.
-
Published as the print cover story for Debut Magazine (Panama), the project celebrates the intersection of fashion, music, and editorial storytelling during one of the industry's most influential fashion events.
